Sawant’s dimension, it’s sufficient to point out that he is the only Indian artist invited as an Honorary Member of IMWA<\/strong> – International Masters of Watercolor Alliance (Registered in Sweden). We could also add that his works are particularly sought after among private collectors, art museums, and galleries worldwide. His trajectory, rich and dense, perhaps unsuspected when he began to grow up in Nasik (India) where he was born in 1979, is improper of someone with much career ahead. For a long time, he has been considered one of the world’s leading realistic artists, especially known for his Plain Air atmospheric landscapes that capture light to create the mood and space of the scene.<\/p>

He has 15 solo exhibitions and more than 70 international exhibitions by invitation on his resume. He has won 45 awards and scholarships at the national and state levels. He has won 42 international awards worldwide for his watercolor, oil, and acrylic paintings. He was the first and only Indian artist to win the 148th International Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society held in New York (2015).<\/strong><\/p>
